Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using the Country Block application, website, or related services (collectively, the “Service”).
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
Definitions
For the purposes of these Terms:
Application means the software application provided by the Company known as Country Block.
Affiliate means any entity that directly or indirectly controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with a party, where “control” means ownership of fifty percent (50%) or more of the voting interests.
Account means a unique account created for You to access the Service.
Company (referred to as “Company,” “We,” “Us,” or “Our”) refers to Country Block.
Content means any text, images, settings, configurations, IP rules, country restrictions, visitor information, or other materials uploaded, displayed, generated, or transmitted through the Service.
Country refers to the United States.
Device means any device capable of accessing the Service, including computers, tablets, and mobile devices.
Feedback means suggestions, ideas, feature requests, or comments regarding the Service.
Service refers to the Country Block application, website, and all related services.
Terms means these Terms of Service.
Third-Party Services means any services, software, APIs, platforms, or content provided by third parties and integrated with the Service, including Shopify.
Website refers to the official Country Block website.

You represent that you are at least 18 years old. The Service is not intended for individuals under the age of 18.

User Accounts
To use certain features of the Service, you may be required to create an Account.
You agree to:

Country Block helps Shopify merchants manage access to their online stores by restricting or allowing visitors based on geographic location, IP address, VPN or proxy detection, and other configurable access rules.
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws, Shopify policies, and these Terms.
You are solely responsible for configuring access rules and ensuring that your use of the Service complies with all applicable privacy, consumer protection, anti-discrimination, and data protection laws in your jurisdiction.
Content
Your Content
You retain ownership of any Content you submit or configure through the Service.
By using the Service, you grant the Company a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, host, process, reproduce, and display your Content solely for the purpose of operating, maintaining, securing, and improving the Service.
You represent that:
- You own or have permission to use the Content.
- Your Content does not violate any law or third-party rights.
Content Restrictions
You may not upload or distribute Content that:
- Is unlawful or promotes illegal activity.
- Is defamatory, abusive, hateful, discriminatory, or threatening.
- Contains spam or unauthorized advertising.
- Contains malware, viruses, or harmful code.
- Infringes intellectual property rights.
- Violates privacy or publicity rights.
- Contains false or misleading information.
We reserve the right to remove any Content that violates these Terms or applicable law.
Data and Backups
While we take reasonable measures to safeguard your data and Service configurations, we do not guarantee that data will never be lost, corrupted, or become unavailable.
You are responsible for maintaining copies of important configuration settings where appropriate.
We will make reasonable efforts to restore data when technically feasible but do not guarantee recovery.
Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, source code, design, branding, logos, documentation, features, and functionality, is the exclusive property of the Company and its licensors.
Nothing in these Terms grants you ownership of the Service or any intellectual property rights other than the limited right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.
Copyright Policy
We respect the intellectual property rights of others.

Feedback
If you submit suggestions, ideas, or other Feedback regarding the Service, you grant the Company a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable license to use, modify, publish, and incorporate such Feedback into the Service without compensation.
Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with third-party platforms and providers, including Shopify.
We are not responsible for the availability, functionality, content, or policies of any third-party services.
Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately if:
- You violate these Terms.
- Your use creates legal, operational, or security risks.
- We discontinue the Service.
You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the application from your Shopify store.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service immediately ends.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Company’s total liability arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed:
- The total fees paid by you to the Company during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim; or
- USD $100 if you have not paid any fees.
In no event shall the Company be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue, business opportunities, customers, goodwill, or data.
The Company is not liable for any business losses resulting from merchant-configured country restrictions, IP blocking rules, VPN detection, or visitor access decisions made through the Service.
Disclaimer
The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind.
We do not guarantee that:
- Geographic location detection will always be accurate.
- VPN or proxy detection will identify every anonymous visitor.
- All unauthorized traffic will be blocked.
- The Service will operate without interruption or error.
- The Service will meet every security or compliance requirement.
Visitor location and network information may depend on third-party databases and internet infrastructure, which may occasionally produce inaccurate results.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the United States, excluding conflict of law principles.
Dispute Resolution
If you have any dispute or concern regarding the Service, you agree to first contact the Company and attempt to resolve the matter informally before pursuing legal action.

Compliance with Laws
You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with all applicable laws, regulations, Shopify policies, export controls, privacy requirements, and consumer protection laws in every jurisdiction where you operate.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
Waiver
The Company’s failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision.
Translation
If these Terms are translated into another language, the English version shall prevail in the event of any inconsistency or dispute.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time.
If material changes are made, we will provide reasonable notice where required by applicable law.
By continuing to use the Service after updated Terms become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.
